God's will for your life is far less
concerned with your circumstances and far more with your heart.Every circumstance is providentially
employed to conform our inner man more and more into all that Christ
is, that we might progressively lose our life in order to find it in
Him. And He knows just what we need to accomplish this and is far
more engaged in the work than we realize. Because He loves us and
wants us near Him.
God converts our soul to Christ so
that, “in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of
His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” (Eph.
2:7) So His highest aim for us is that Christ would become as
indispensably valuable as He is and we would become trophies of His
grace. Every success you might achieve in this world is nothing in
comparison to the eternal weight of a life lived in pursuit of
Christ, which triumphs in every circumstance.
Godliness with contentment is great
gain. (1 Tim. 6:6)
